Align A'light ("we," "us," "our"), a coaching and healing practice founded by Manisha Wadhera, respects your privacy. This policy describes what personal information we collect through alignalight.com (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you. By using the Site, you consent to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect what we need to serve you:

• Contact & booking details — your name, email, phone number, and any message you send through the contact, booking, or newsletter forms.
• Intake / self-discovery responses — the answers you choose to submit through the intake form or quiz, used to understand how best to support you.
• Order & shipping details — name, delivery address, email, and phone when you place a shop order, so we can fulfil and ship it.
• Verification data — a one-time code sent to your email or phone to confirm it's really you. Codes are stored only as a hashed value, never in plain text, and expire quickly.
• Payment information — processed directly by our payment provider (Razorpay). We never see or store your full card, UPI, or bank details.
• Basic technical data — standard information your browser sends (such as IP address and device/browser type), used for security and to keep the Site working.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your enquiries and schedule sessions.
• To process, fulfil, and deliver shop orders.
• To send the newsletter or resources you asked for (only if you opted in).
• To verify your email or phone number when you request it.
• To keep the Site secure and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Payment Security

All payments are handled by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. When you pay, your card/UPI/bank details are entered into Razorpay's secure system — not ours. We only receive confirmation of whether a payment succeeded and a reference ID for reconciliation.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

The Site uses your browser's local storage for essential, privacy-friendly purposes only — remembering your light/dark theme preference and holding your shopping cart between pages. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If website analytics are enabled in future, they will be used only to understand aggregate, anonymised traffic patterns.

6. Who We Share Information With

We share personal information only with the service providers needed to run the business, and only to the extent required:

• Razorpay — to process payments.
• Our hosting provider — to store and serve the Site securely.
• Shipping / courier partners — to deliver shop orders (name and address only).
• Email/SMS providers — to send verification codes or requested communications.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected — for example, order records for accounting and warranty periods, and enquiry details for as long as we're in contact. Verification codes are deleted or expire automatically. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

8. Your Rights & Choices

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to fix anything inaccurate.
• Deletion — ask us to delete your information, subject to any legal record-keeping we must keep.
• Unsubscribe — opt out of the newsletter at any time.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site links to third-party platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and course video providers). Once you leave our Site, their own privacy policies apply — we aren't responsible for how they handle your data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Significant changes will be reflected on this page; continued use of the Site means you accept the updated policy.
