Product & Sales Terms and Conditions

1. What This Page Covers

These Product & Sales Terms apply to every purchase made through alignalight.com's Shop and Checkout — sound healing instruments and crystals, digital courses (once published), and gift cards. They work together with our general Terms & Conditions (which cover use of the Site as a whole) and our Refunds & Returns policy (which covers how refunds, returns, and cancellations actually work). Where this page and the general Terms overlap, the more specific terms here govern purchases.

By completing a purchase — clicking "Place Order" at Checkout, or purchasing a gift card — you agree to these terms for that order.

2. Product Descriptions & Accuracy

• We make a reasonable effort to describe and photograph products accurately, but colours, textures, and finishes can appear slightly different on different screens.
• Sound healing instruments and crystals are natural or handcrafted items — variation in wood grain, metal tone, crystal shape, size, and colour from the product photo is expected and is not a defect.
• Sound samples (where provided) are recorded from a representative instrument of that type; the exact tone of the individual piece you receive may vary slightly.
• We reserve the right to correct any error, inaccuracy, or omission in a product description, price, or image at any time, including after an order has been placed, and to cancel that order with a full refund if the correction materially changes what was ordered.

3. Pricing & Taxes

• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR).
• Prices may change at any time without notice; the price shown at the moment you complete Checkout is the price you are charged for that order.
• Any applicable taxes (such as GST) are the responsibility of Align A'light to remit as required by law; unless a line item explicitly states otherwise, displayed prices are treated as the final payable amount for the order.
• Shipping charges, where applicable, are shown separately at Checkout before payment.

4. Order Acceptance & Our Right to Decline

Placing an order and completing payment is an offer to purchase, not an automatic guarantee of fulfilment. We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund — in situations including:

• The item is out of stock or was mispriced due to a technical or human error.
• We suspect fraud, an unauthorised payment, or a violation of these terms.
• The shipping address is outside the regions we currently deliver to.

We will notify you by email or WhatsApp if we cancel an order for any of these reasons.

5. Payment

• Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We never see or store your full card, UPI, or bank account details.
• Full payment is required at the time of order for physical products and gift cards, and before access is granted for digital courses.
• An order is only confirmed once payment is successfully captured by Razorpay — a payment that fails or is left incomplete does not create a confirmed order.

6. Physical Products

• Applies to singing bowls, gongs, chimes, tuning forks, tongue drums, crystals, and similar shop items.
• Delivery is estimated at 10–15 business days across India; tracking details are sent once your order ships.
• Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the item is delivered to the shipping address you provided — please inspect your order on arrival and contact us promptly if anything looks wrong.
• It's your responsibility to provide an accurate, deliverable shipping address; we are not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by an incorrect or incomplete address.
• Full detail on damaged, defective, or change-of-mind returns is in our Refunds & Returns policy.

7. Digital Products & Courses

• Applies to self-paced courses and any downloadable digital material (guides, workbooks, audio) sold through the Site.
• A digital purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access the material — it is not a sale of the underlying content, and ownership of the material itself is not transferred to you.
• Access is tied to your account and delivered electronically (account access or a download link); nothing is shipped physically for a digital-only purchase.
• Sharing, reselling, or redistributing course or digital material access is not permitted and may result in access being revoked without refund.
• Refund eligibility for digital purchases is covered in our Refunds & Returns policy — in short, access already used is generally non-refundable.

8. Gift Cards

• Gift cards are redeemable against sessions, sound healing, or shop instruments at alignalight.com, for the value purchased.
• Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, in full or in part, except where required by law.
• Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless a different validity period is shown at the time of purchase.
• We are not responsible for a gift card that is lost, stolen, or redeemed by someone other than the intended recipient once the code has been shared.

9. Order Cancellation by You

• Physical product orders can be cancelled for a full refund any time before the order ships — contact us as soon as possible after placing the order.
• Once an order has shipped, cancellation is treated as a return under our Refunds & Returns policy.
• Digital course purchases can be cancelled per the digital-purchase terms in our Refunds & Returns policy.

10. Force Majeure

We're not liable for a delay or failure to deliver a product or digital access caused by events outside our reasonable control — including courier or postal disruptions, natural disasters, strikes, internet or payment-gateway outages, or government action. We'll let you know if something like this affects your order and work with you on a reasonable resolution once the disruption clears.

11. How This Relates to Our Other Policies

This page governs the terms of the sale itself. Our Terms & Conditions govern general use of the Site (including sessions, courses licensing, and conduct), and our Refunds & Returns policy governs how refunds, returns, and cancellations are actually processed. Please read all three before purchasing.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Product & Sales Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from a purchase will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over our place of business. We'd always rather resolve an issue directly first — please reach out to us before pursuing any formal dispute.
